Apple’s long-rumored tablet may be nearing reality, as new reports of 10-inch display orders came to light on Monday

Asus confirmed the existence of the new Eee Model, called Asus Eee PC 904, the system will have the case of the 10-inch Eee PC 1001 but the 8.9-inch display of the 901. It will also feature a hard disk instead of a solid state drive that the other models feature, hence the HD after its name. Android-XP Netbook ready to preorder

Acer Aspire One Netbook D250 with dual boot is available for preorder. This netbook has a choice of Windows XP or the Google Android operating system in the boot screen.
The Netbook was offered by Amazon shopping site for U.S. $349.99. This 10.1-inch netbook has a 9 hours battery life.
When used with the wireless on and work in normal mode, the battery capacity is only 5 hours.

India Creates First Local 3G Netbook

Olive Telecommunication and Tata Teleservices (TTSL) work together to create a netbook with 3G-capable.

OLED Laptops Marketed End 2010

Consumers will see the first commercial OLED laptop next year. Gartner Research firm predicts that OLED notebooks will become standard within the next five years.
Division head of global sales and marketing Samsung Kyu Uhm at IFA exhibition in Berlin, Germany said the company would launch OLED laptop in late 2010.
“Samsung is the biggest OLED display makers. If the commercial can be used for laptops, we will adopt it … maybe 3rd quarter of next year,” said Uhm.
