The Mac Book is Apples entry level laptop and can be purchased for about $999.00. Its a strong laptop in a sturdy case and it is perfect for Students or anyone looking for a entry level laptop. Now we all know that you can get laptops that run Microsoft windows for under $500.00 and Netbooks which can be purchased for $99.00 with a cell phone contract. Well the answer is that Apple just puts out a better product

Apple controls the Hardware, Software Components everything. Computers running Microsoft Windows have hardware parts from numerous suppliers which fit clicked together with a snap. Each component in a windows computer has drivers. Those drivers are made by numerous hardware suppliers to tell windows how to operate. The operating system is Microsoft wWndows, so you have Microsoft controlling the operating system, now you install more software distributed by many third parties. The weaknesses in Microsoft Windows as compare to MAC are right there in how they are assembled and how they operate. Now bear in mind that most business use Windows and if you plan to use the computer with your business applications please check with your It department.

We dont want anybody plucking down $999.00 if they cant use it for its intended purpose

There not a bad thing we can say about this laptop. It boots up immediately, runs numerous programs never a virus or fatal error. It may be a little light on memory but the computer clearly outperforms more powerful computers running Microsoft operating system. The Graphics are intense and you do have a choice of how much memory you can get with the graphics card. Go for 1 gig (the Highest available) and also get as much RAM as Apple offers. Having a high quality Graphics Card will insure you can watch any kind of video or movies, TV or streaming from You Tube all from this laptop. The small increase in cost will be more than offset by the superior performance. Also the Laptop will last longer and run better.
