it’s actually a lot more than a phone, it’s a MP3 player, E mail, web browsing, GPS and built in camera device
This is the first time Google has introduced hardware and it shows how the company is ready to embrace new technologies that are a strategic fit with their search business. Search is become mobile, and Global and people want this information and they want it on whatever device, smart phone, computer or tablet pc is available to them at that moment
GPS and search is becoming the hot item and people want to use their Smartphone’s to retrieve information over the web. Developers expect Software to be available in the Business, productivity and entertainment categories
Google announced their New Smartphone NEXUS ONE running their ANDROID Software,
The Phones are manufactured by HTC of Taiwan.
The NEXUS ONE is about as thick as a pencil and weighs as much as a small Swiss Army knife. It has a 5-megapixel camera with a flash, and can take video, with one-click upload to YouTube. The Nexus One has stereo Bluetooth and the standard headphone jack. It also has a first for Android: noise cancellation features. Google calls it “active noise suppression.”
By now it should be fairly obvious that no singular handset will be a IPHONE killer Taken as a whole, however, Android will amass an army of handsets that will eclipse Apple’s market share. With an estimated 50 handsets due in 2010, it will be impossible to withstand the coming barrage for long. Android will overtake Apple’s handset; it’s not a question of “if,” but rather “when” it happens. And I believe that the NEXUS ONE is the exactly catalyst needed to push Android forward much faster.
This is the Handset T Mobile hoped for, sleek and sharp with the latest software so expect to see T Mobile increasing market share in several key markets and as mentioned the barrage of 50 new ANDROID based phones being released in 2010
