British Airways allows their passengers to call during flight

cellplane2British Airways (BA) will introduce the mobile phone technology in their flight. Passengers will be able to send and receive SMS, email and internet access during the trip.

Services will be provided starting autumn future for business class from London City airport to JFK in New York.

BA will provide voice phone, SMS if proven successful. “No plans for voice call, but we will listen to feedback from passengers. Consumer is the king, ” said BA spokesman.

Introduction of mobile phone technology caused controversy since the first flight into Emirate which provides that in March 2008. Each passenger fares charged £ 2 per minute for voice call.

Last year, Telegraph Travel petition that the spacecraft’s signal-free phone interesting 7000 signature. They were concerned with the security problems and other passengers.

After the Emirate introduce that service, on the flight from Dubai to Casablanca, will be expanded to all flight that more than 100 aircraft. So far, 28 aircraft have been offering this service.
