Intel Create Touch Screen Laptop for Children
Trends in the use of the touchscreen on a number of gadgets, seems also to infect Intel. In January, Intel will launch a new generation of laptop with the touch screen.
Laptops touch screen that makes the students as the main target, will be introduced at the the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
In addition to touchscreen technology, Intel will also complete with interactive software, is intended to attract children to use. However, overall, all age also become relevant targets.
This new Laptops will be designed with a 8.9 inch screen. And additionally built-in accelerometer which lets the laptop screen position can be vertical or horizontal.
“In addition, the device will be with Intel processors atom powered, which lets laptop can install the Windows operating system or Linux,” said Intel spokesman, as reported by The Guardian, on Thursday (12/18/2008).
The launch is to ‘rival’ XO laptop products, products made by a non-profit foundation One Laptop Per Child (OLPC), which initiated by one of Intel Head Nicolas Negroponte.
