Intel prepared release a new generation of its chipset, Core i7. Although the launch is still a few days, this the chipset can be ordered online.

The online stores have displayed this chip in their sites to be sold with pre-orders system. This CPU will attend three options, namely, the i7 920 Core, Core i7 940, and the Extreme Edition 965.

Core i7 920 with 8MB cache memory and speed 2.66 GHz, offered about U.S. $ 284. However, at PC Connection website, this chip is offered at U.S. $ 334.

Then a second chip, Core i7 940, has a 2.93 GHz speed. In the PC Mall site, this chip offered U.S. $ 722, whereas in the PC Connection is offered at price of U.S. $ 661. Meanwhile, Intel price of about U.S. $ 560.

Meanwhile, the third chip, i7 Core Extreme Edition 965, which has a speed 3.2 Ghz. Intel price is below U.S. $ 1000. Nevertheless, the price ranges at online retail between U.S. $ 1,090-US $ 1,300.
