AVG ask apologize to their users

Still resentful because your AVG antivirus identify the main Windows system files as malware Last week?, AVG Confirmed that they goes wrong when identified user32.dll detected as a generic Trojan by AVG 7.5 and 8.0. As a result, the AVG will shown a warning message that asks whether the user wants to delete the file. If the answer is yes, you will be faced with a reboot cycle that is not culminate.

After complained by their users, AVG also offers a temporary solution. However, it is not enough. So AVG give announcement, “As a follow-up fast distribution of the CD and instructions of recovery, AVG Technologies offers on all the affected users (the impact) free license or license renewal as follows.”

AVG offer is basically AVG 8.0 free for one year, or a free upgrade for users of AVG 7.5. This company will begin contacting affected customers to provide further instructions about the service starts on November, 24 2008.

AVG also said that once again they apologize for the inconvenience that befall their customers and promised to implement a new process so that similar incidents do not recur in the future.
